This generation project is located in the department of Santander, in the jurisdiction of the municipalities of San Gil, Pinchote, Socorro and Cabrera.
The hydroelectric plant does not have a reservoir and operates by means of a run-of-the-river system, using the waters of the Fonce River to generate electricity with three generation units in a surface powerhouse.
Its installed capacity is estimated at 156 MW and its annual average generation is 980 GWh/year, equivalent to the energy required to meet the needs of 380,000 Colombians.
Piedra del Sol is considered a clean energy project, as it reduces greenhouse gas (GHG) emissions, thus becoming a candidate for recognition as a Clean Development Mechanism (CDM), in accordance with the criteria of the United Nations Framework Convention on Climate Change (UNFCC).
The generation project is being developed by ISAGEN and HMV.

This generation project is located in the jurisdiction of the municipalities of San Carlos, Puerto Nare and Caracolí (Antioquia), it has an estimated capacity of 98 MW, and its powerhouse has two generation units.
The plant will harness the flow of the Samaná Norte River, as well as the regulation of the reservoirs within the Nare - Guatapé chain and the Porvenir II project, which are located upstream. A toe-of-dam, run-of-the-river system will allow the river to continue its course without further alterations.
The competent authority in terms of licensing and environmental monitoring is the Regional Autonomous Corporation of the Negro and Nare River Basins (CORNARE), by appointment of the National Environmental Licensing Authority (ANLA).

This project is located in the municipality of Granada, in the department of Antioquia, and has been running since 1990, increasing the generation flow at the Calderas Hydroelectric Power Plant.
It consists of harnessing the existing infrastructure relating to the Tafetanes River diversion structure (dam and tunnel), through the construction of a new pipe to channel water to a powerhouse located to the side of Los Medios stream. It has a projected capacity of 4.3 MW.
This project is located in the district of Cabo de La Vela, in the municipality of Uribia (La Guajira). It has a projected installed capacity of 20 MW and harnesses the wind in order to generate energy.
It has an environmental license issued by CORPOGUAJIRA, and prior consultation was carried out with the communities. The wind farm's connection to the National Interconnected System (SIN) is being evaluated.
This project is located to the north of the municipal center of Maicao (La Guajira), on the border with Venezuela. It has a projected installed capacity of 376 MW and harnesses the wind in order to generate energy.
This project is located in the municipality of Villamaría (Caldas), it has a projected installed capacity of 50 MW, and uses heat from the earth to generate energy.
It is currently at the feasibility stage and in the environmental licensing process with CORPOCALDAS, which includes the stages relating to exploratory drilling and utilization of the resource. In addition, we are moving forward with the financial structuring for this project.
