At ISAGEN, we have established our Corporate Control System as the set of elements that interact to ensure that corporate aims are achieved. The benchmark that our company has adopted for the Internal Control System is the COSO model: Internal Control - Comprehensive Framework, and this comprises five components: control environment, risk assessment, control activities, information and communication, and monitoring. Within this latter component, Principle 16 is of particular note: "The organization selects, develops, and performs ongoing and/or separate evaluations to ascertain whether the components of internal control are present and functioning."

We present the results of the main evaluations conducted by the Corporate Audit team and the external control entities linked to the Corporate Control System, as well as the completion report relating to the Código País Survey, through which we validate the degree to which we have adopted the measures suggested in the New Code on Corporate Best Practices, as set out in Circular 028 of 2014 from the Financial Superintendence of Colombia.
