ISAGEN generated 11,002.5 GWh of energy in 2011, 96.99% of which came from hydroelectric generation, with the remaining 3.01% from thermal generation. No energy was imported from Venezuela. ISAGEN's Termocentro thermal plant generated 330.9 GWh, 3.5% of the Grid's total thermal generation for the year. Compared to 2011, ISAGEN's energy generation increased by 15.1%. Its contribution to Colombia's National Electrical Grid ("SIN" in Spanish) grew from 16.80% in 2010 to 18.77% in 2011. ISAGEN’s share in SIN generation
