ISAGEN is Colombia’s third largest energy generator with 16.8% share of the system’s installed capacity. ISAGEN is a company specialized in energy production, trading of energy solutions and development of new generation projects. Its installed capacity, which totals 2,132 MW, with additional 150 MW from the interconnection with Venezuela, make´s ISAGEN Colombia’s third largest energy generator with 16.8% share of the National Interconnected System’s total installed capacity. Its current expansion plan includes the Guarinó, Manso, Amoyá and Sogamoso projects, which are being constructed under criteria of quality, profitability and sustainability in order to support the Company’s growth, and contribute to the attention of future energy demand. Also, as part of its strategy to help mitigate climate change, ISAGEN is developing projects for the carbon market and advancing in the identification of energy integrated businesses (generation – trading) in Latin America. |
